Chris Forsberg, the world’s number one drift driver and infamous stunt driver, performs for his British fans for the first-time, as he takes to the circuit at Silverstone on Sunday 5th September for TRAX – the UK’s most awe inspiring event for drivers and fans of performance cars.

Forsberg is the 2009 Formula Drift Champion, and is currently ranked No.1 for the 2010 season. He is flying in from America especially to take part in TRAX where he aims to make a big impression on his first drive in the UK drift scene. Giving the crowds an unmissable spectacle, Forsberg will demonstrate his high-speed stunts in the TRAX Action Arena, as well as proving his skills out on the track alongside European drifters, the JDM Allstars.

Crowds can expect to be blown away by his precision driving as he demonstrates his world-famous ‘bottle trick’ where he power-slides his car towards a wall at speeds of up to 70mph, knocking the top off a bottle protruding from the wall! It has to be seen to be believed, so visit to see what to expect.

Eight lucky people will also have the chance to win a passenger ride with Forsberg, as he takes them out in the TRAX Action Arena for the trip of a lifetime, while fans will have the chance to meet him at the Redline magazine stand – with a lucky few getting a signed copy.

Event-goers can expect plenty of other track action with the super-car sessions (where you’ll get to see Corvettes, Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Maseratis, and other rare metal in action on the track), as well as demonstrations from Ford driver Paul Swift with his precision driving skills.

You can also take your own car out on the track, with all makes and models welcome so whether it’s your first time on track or you’re a track day veteran; you can put your car to test on the world-famous F1 Circuit.

There will also be special displays from the most impressive car clubs in the country, with over 4500 cars on display, as well as the all-new super-car paddock and 2010 Power & Style Awards which will recognise the best ‘Performance tuned’ and ‘Street style’ cars at the show.

And, as the last major show of the season, TRAX is a great place to grab a bargain, with a massive retail village packed with many of the leading brands in the tuning market offering significant discounts on the products and services. With over 10,000 sqm of tuning retail space; TRAX is the ultimate day out for any performance car enthusiast!

Steve Foster, Events Manager for TRAX said:

“TRAX is by far the largest performance car show in the UK. Supported by the UK’s bestselling performance car magazines and owners clubs; it’s a fantastic day out for all car enthusiasts! We’ve got some of the best names in the business here this year, and having Chris Forsberg attend TRAX will give fans of drifting a real treat.

TRAX is the ultimate performance car event, and the climax of the 2010 Adrian Flux Auto Events Series. It won the National Outdoor Event Association’s ‘Event of the Year’ award for 2009, and features more high performance cars, more track action, more car club displays and more performance tuning exhibitions than any other event of the year.
