Salon Privé 2010 ArtworkWith just one week to go to the fifth annual Salon Privé (21-23 July), the organisers have taken the wraps off the event’s official look for 2010.

This year’s official Salon Privé artwork has been commissioned from renowned British artist and illustrator, Brian James, whose work has been used by many of the UK’s biggest brands and museums in the UK, Europe, Middle East and USA.

A large part of Brian’s recent work has had a motoring theme and his Salon Privé 2010 illustration captures the event’s combination of fabulous cars and English garden party atmosphere.

Drawn using several actual photographs of previous events, Brian’s image will be featured on the Salon Privé website and as the cover of the catalogue for the Salon Privé Concours d’Elègance, in association with Chubb Insurance.

Said event co-founder, David Bagley: “Brian’s works are stunning, conveying the spirit of every car and event he portrays.  We’re delighted with his interpretation of Salon Privé.”

Tickets for the 2010 event are now sold out, making it the fastest-selling, biggest and most successful Salon Privé to date.  Such is the appeal to those who have experienced it, approximately 80 per cent of ticket sales are to repeat visitors.

Salon Privé creates a British social and motoring occasion unlike any other, gracing the famous lawns of London’s Hurlingham Club and offering Europe’s largest single display of luxury cars, supercars and some of the finest classic cars.
